Progress is being made! I have probably done more thinking than making. Working on several projects in line with my ideas of not bringing new things into the world. Foraging for materials and gathering little treasures that have been discarded by somebody, something, somewhere. I have begun a treasures shelf in my studio. It contains a paper wasp’s nest, a jar of feathers, Hammersmith Bridge - a chunk of wood that came from the original bridge when it was being repaired, two perspex boxes with lone figures inside - not quite good enough for the intended exhibition, a yellow table tennis ball, pebbles, three tiny ‘paintings’ - it is beginning to feel like that old game, Kim’s game, where you look t things on a. tray for 30 seconds and then cover them up and try to remember them. In a grand tidying up of my studio, I have managed to place all my black notebooks together, over 100 of them, which makes me feel very happy.
